Good Question....

I think there has been near three official job posting by employers.

There are 1,683 models in the database... I have been told by a rep that once that number hits 5,000 they will be "opening the system to employers and fully activating the jobs board". So, as I see it, nothing much is going on here yet. BUT you do get free website, with pictures and stats.

I have used the website as a marketing tool to reach possible agents in foreign country's, and that has been helpful.

Your website should be

us.modeljobspro.com/firstname.lastname

but you can change this in your profile.

That's all I know.

I haven't gotten any job offers from this site, I totally agree with MattBrown, this site isn't a "big thing" yet, it's new, but we've just got to have patience, and eventually good things will come. Just give it some time...

Love your enthusiastically question! I took the liberty to answer your "sitting-how-to-get-busy!" - it is not end of the world.

Being modeling is something that do the magic - dreams, realistic, and none. Research, finding some ideas, meeting people as networking, practice, adding up your portfolio, and all of those things to do - all of those "errands" will follow your dream and realistic. If you haven't done anything, there will be none.

Learn all the way, not to wait, go go go - let's have fun adventure. Time will come, build up your portfolio, asking for feedbacks/suggestions from photographers, looking through the ideas where you would like to do. Juggle several errands with you, talk with agents too.

I have been rejected a lot of times due to my age and hearing loss. Don't let them destroy your self-esteem and your "can't". In a few times, you will get a luck one day! Keep going on and on all the way.

Best of luck - dear, don't sit! Enjoy while you can!

yeah, you can tell by looking around that not much is going on here. hopefully the people who run the site are doing their part in exposing the site itself. Of course, if you have a personal page (i.e. myspace), business cards, comp cards, whatever... you can put a link or add print that directs the viewer to this site. best of luck with your pursuit of life. i'm trying to work it on my own, without an agency.
